How I Plan My Weekly Glow-Up Reset
The simple system I use to keep my weeks organised and aligned
Why My Weekly Reset Is a Non-Negotiable
My weekly glow-up reset is the anchor of my planning routine. It’s the moment each week where I pause, get clear, and design what I want the days ahead to look like. Not in a dramatic way, just enough to move through the week with intention instead of autopilot.
When I plan weekly, everything else fits more easily. My routines feel smoother, my priorities feel clearer, and my glow-up goals stay front of mind without taking over my life.
Step 1: Reflect Before You Plan
Before I plan the next week, I always take a quick look back - it’s just a moment to notice what worked well and what felt easy to keep up with. I pay attention to things like:
✧ which habits I naturally stuck to
✧ where I felt most energised
✧ what I’d like a little more (or less) of
I don’t overanalyse, I only reflect on what helps me plan the next week more thoughtfully. This step makes planning feel connected, not random.

Step 2: Decide What This Week Is For
I’ve found that weeks feel much easier when they have a clear direction. Instead of trying to focus on everything at once, I choose one main theme for the week - something that guides how I plan and what I prioritise.
Writing a short weekly affirmation helps lock that intention in. It becomes a gentle reminder when I’m planning my time or deciding what actually matters. This one small decision gives the whole week a sense of flow.

Step 3: Track Your Healthy Habits for the Week
Habits are much easier to keep when they’re tracked visually. There’s something very satisfying in ticking your healthy habits off at the end of each day. This includes things like self-development, self-care and wellness routines. Seeing habits laid out like that helps me keep things balanced. I can spot busy days, lighter days, and progress all at a glance. This way, habits feel supportive rather than demanding.
This is why I like using a single weekly planning page that brings habits, priorities, and intentions together in one place. It keeps the week feeling balanced without needing lots of separate trackers.
I’ve made this exact weekly planning page available as part of my free Glow-Up mini planner, so you can try this style of weekly reset for yourself. It includes the weekly layout I use, designed to help you plan with intention while keeping things light and flexible.

Step 4: Create Structure Without Over-Scheduling
For me, the key to weekly planning is getting clear on priorities and tasks. I choose a small number of top priorities for the week, the things that genuinely matter. Everything else lives in the to-do list. I fill out my daily appointments, including work engagements, workouts and catch-ups with friends. This keeps my days feeling focused without being packed, and gives me an overview of what the upcoming week looks like. I know what deserves my attention, but I’m not micromanaging every hour. It’s just enough structure to feel organised, with plenty of room to adjust.
Why This System Works Long-Term
What makes this weekly reset work is how repeatable it is. Each week follows the same gentle flow: reflect, choose a focus, plan habits, set priorities. There’s no need to change the system, only the details. That consistency makes it easy to come back to week after week.
If you want to follow this same weekly flow, the Glow-Up mini planner includes the weekly page I use to reset, plan habits, and set priorities each week. It’s a simple way to bring this system into your own routine without committing to a full planner straight away.

When Weekly Planning Is Part of a Bigger System
Weekly planning feels even smoother when it’s connected to your bigger picture.
That’s why, once I’d built a consistent weekly reset, I wanted everything - weekly planning, monthly goals, habit tracking, routines, and long-term vision, to live in one place.
I use my 2026 All-in-One Glow-Up Planner to bring it all together. It expands on this weekly system with space to plan months ahead, track habits over time, and stay aligned with the version of myself I’m working towards.
